POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Supervisor-Nursing is responsible for assisting unit Director and/or Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the assigned nursing or clinical unit to include the direct supervision of RNs and nursing staff. Expectations of the Supervisor include working directly with the Director and/or Manager in development of the nursing staff including education, department competencies, evaluation, performance correction, and patient safety and customer service-related issues. The Supervisor will assist nursing and unit-based care staff in their professional development.
