Description: Job Summary: Assists in the medical care and treatment of students. Conducts a cursory health evaluation of new students. Includes, but not limiting to: Measures and records student vital signs, conducts hearing and vision screening, obtain and test urine, apply, read, and document results of PPD's. Performs phlebotomy procedures and collects specimens as required by National Job Corps Protocol. Administers medication, monitors, and follows up to observe students. Reports on adverse reactions to medication to the Health and Wellness Director. Assists with scheduling and follow up of medical appointments on center and community appointments. Coordination of Chronic Care Management Plans for students with chronic illnesses Serves as Co-Disability Coordinator, managing and providing medical accommodations to students.
